Eastern Electrics Festival have announced Richie Hawtin has their special headliner for 2013.

A leading light of the techno world since the early ’90s – though as avid fans will tell you, his career started long before that, holding down shows on Detroit pirate radio in the 1980s – Hawtin leads a set of additions that also features deep house kingpin Kerri Chandler, Numbers’ Jackmaster and Spencer, Detroit party-starter Kyle Hall (who just announced his debut album, The Boat Party), Chez Damier, the few-more-on-form Gerd, Matt Tolfrey, Cristophe and Lukas, Tommy Four Seven and Brian Sanhaji. They join a line-up that already features Maya Jane Coles, Dave Clarke, Prosumer, Masters at Work and more.
