Dalston’s multi-venue Land of Kings Festival has announced its first acts for 2013.
Now in its fourth year, the festival’s programme includes a “village fete-come-street party”, a convoy of food trucks and collaborations with the likes of Reggae Roast and Moshi Moshi at venues such as Birthdays, Shacklewell Arms and The Vortex.
The first list of confirmed live acts includes New Young Pony Club, Gaggle, The Wave Pictures, Gang Colours and Darkstar, fresh from the release of their second album News From Nowhere. DJ sets come from Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston, Friendly Fires [above], Tayo, Drums of Death, Hackman, Rory Phillips and more.
