Straw hats at the ready – Kent’s Lounge On The Farm festival is back. 

The big draw is Marshall Jefferson, one of house music’s great originators. Ask anyone: the man behind ‘Move Your Body’ has had a major hand in the development of acid house and deep house alike, and he’ll be bringing decades of experience to his DJ set. MK, long-reigning king of the house edit, will bring some twitchy 4/4 to the farm with a full set. DJ Format, meanwhile, will be doing his homegrown head-nod thing, showcased on last year’s Statement Of Intent LP. They’ll be joined by the likes of UK club veterans Soul II Soul, spry toaster David Rodigan, party crew The Heatwave and bluesman Seasick Steve. Further acts include Lucy Rose, Dub Pistols, Aswad, Inland Knights and DJ Alfredo.
