FACT have teamed up with Soundcloud, Point Blank, Parklife Weekender and The Warehouse Project for a competition that should appeal to up-and-coming producers everywhere.
As should always be the case, the rules are simple: you, the producer create a track. When you’re happy with it, you upload it to the Parklife Producer Comp Soundcloud page with the required artwork, and you’re in the draw (it must be an original production, not a remix, and should be titled Producer Name – Track Name – Parklife Producer Comp Entry). Entrants can submit a track from now until Thursday April 25, when public voting starts. This lasts until Sunday May 12, when the most favourited 10 tracks are given over to an impressive team of judges: Eats Everything, Jackmaster, Heidi and North Base.
They’ll select their favourites (one winner, and three runners up), and then the prizes are bestowed. The competition winner receives a SoundCloud Pro Unlimited account, a music production courses at Point Blank, page space on FACT, two VIP tickets to Parklife – with artist passes and access to the artist village included – and Parklife merchandise. Each runner up receives a Soundcloud Pro account, regular Parklife tickets and merch. What are you waiting for?
