Cold Cave’s Wesley Eisold isn’t a guy known for his sunny disposition that’s for sure, so ‘People are Poison’ is pretty much business as usual.

Culled from forthcoming 7″ Oceans With No End the track is a relentless chunk of industrial pop, and should put anyone’s mind at ease who might have been worried that the band would stick at the more upbeat (at least for Cold Cave) style exhibited on 2011’s Cherish The Light Years.

There’s a distinctly druggy Jesus and Mary Chain feel to ‘People are Poison’ that harks back to a time that’s long gone, and a time that seems perfectly in synch with Eisold’s distorted leather ‘n shades vision. [via Consequence of Sound]
