Huxley gets that, and it’s probably why the Tring-born producer has quickly risen to the top of the new school of UK house and garage producers that’s so prominent right now. On ‘Diesel’, his contribution to Jaymo and Andy George’s new mixed compilation, Moda Black Vol. 2 (also featuring Eats Everything, Medlar and more), he sticks closer to the gleeful bounce of past Huxley singles like ‘Shower Scene’ and ‘Heidi Clam’ than the housey-housey gear he saves for Hypercolour, and the results are unsurprisingly lovely.
