After the Neptunesesque grind of ‘Red Wine’, Spaceghostpurrp returns to the pneumatic ambience that dominates his catalog.

Lyrically, ‘Starz’ is boastful, whether through halting self-aggrandizement (“I… am… the nigga… you want to be”) or Miami bass-referencing chants about his Raider Klan cohort. While those lines are looped for hypnotic affect, his lone full verse is yet another grimy sex rap, even if it’s one of his most dexterous offerings yet.
