The New York art-punks share a slightly NSFW clip for their gospel-tinged ‘Sacrilege’.
‘Sacrilege’ is the first single off the band’s forthcoming album Mosquito. For the song’s video, director Megaforce tells a reverse narrative about a modern witch burning, like something out of Shirley Jackson’s The Lottery: British model/actress Lily Cole stars in the role of temptress that must suffer for a small town’s sins.
Mosquito is due out on April 15. The band’s fourth album, it was mostly produced by long-term collaborator Dave Sitek (TV on the Radio, Telepathe) and Nick Launay, with appearances by James Murphy and Kool Keith in his Dr. Octagon guise. The band has also updated their tour dates, which are below. [via Consequence of Sound]
