Still your quickening pulses, beat fans: Prefuse 73 and Nosaj Thing are to join forces on a forthcoming EP.
Prefuse 73 is, of course, a prolific collaborator. The Warp beatmaker heads up rootsy trio Savath & Savalas, teamed up with Death Grips’ Zach Hill as Diamond Watch Wrists in 2009, and recently launched the Sons Of The Morning project with Brainfeeder dreamer Teebs. Nosaj Thing, meanwhile, forges a more solitary path, although he’s recently launched a new artist label, Timetable.
As Potholes In My Blog report, a collaborative EP is apparently in the works from the pair. The news emanates from a post on Nosaj Thing’s Facebook page, which also announces a glut of forthcoming solo material and remixes:
“new ep + king krule remix + how to destroy angels remix + nt x prefuse ep in the works…”
More news as and when we have it. Nosaj Thing’s sophomore LP Home is out now on Innovative Leisure. Prefuse 73’s last LP was 2011’s The Only She Chapters.
