The English singer shares a bedroom-minded bit of twisted popcraft.

Like her previous efforts, ‘What I Like’ combines contemporary electronic dance tropes with a hip-hop groove and a sideways view of pop music. After a frenetic intro that borders on footwork, the song settles down, alternating between sing-song bubblegum and auto-tuned melancholy. The latter is a trick previously employed by producer J£ZUS MILLION on Charli’s Brooke Candy-featuring ‘Cloud Aura’, and it works again here.
