The four tracks are from a forthcoming white label release on his own imprint.
Over the past few years, Randomer (aka North London producer Rohan Walder) has established himself as a purveyor of unrelenting, roughneck techno; a pair of 2012 releases on Hemlock reveled in what the label accurately described as “deranged acid breakbeat music.”
For his first release of 2013, Randomer will self-release the RNDMR001 EP, 12″ which includes four equally no-nonsense dancefloor creations. ‘House Banger’ lives up to its title, with an acidic bassline, haunting synths, and some decidedly old school orchestra hits. Even more straightforward, ‘Meat and Dancing’ is an industrial punisher, while ‘Search It Out’ is a tribute to the programming acumen he demonstrated on ‘Real Talk’.
Stream the EP below; it’s due out on April 15. Revisit year’s FACT mix for more along these lines.
