While Boston might still be best known for Clam Chowder and the inability of its locals to pronounce the letter R, the Together Festival, now in its fourth year, is looking to change that.
Organized by local promoters Mmmmaven, the Together Festival is a multi-venue celebration of electronic music both from in and around the city and further afield. It looks as if 2013 is sporting their most inclusive line-up to date, with FACT favourites A$AP Ferg, Flying Lotus, Juicy J, Thundercat, Le1f and others joining local heavy hitters Soul Clap (who dropped an incredible FACT mix last year), Doctor Jeep and more.
One boon for the festival was booking the consistently interesting Four Tet, who will be playing Cambridge’s Middle East Downstairs on Tuesday May 14. The artist has long been a favourite at Together HQ and is a booking that has been a long time coming.
An expansive collision of sounds that promises to keep the electronic flag held high for an underrated city, Together Festival will be happening on May 12-19, so make sure you make a note in the calendar.
