The operatic ‘Animal X’ was recorded during the sessions for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ latest album, Push the Sky Away, and if you didn’t grab a copy at this weekend’s Record Store Day, the band has shared the song on Youtube (via Pitchfork).

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will spend the better part of 2013 on the road. In her review for FACT, Maya Kalev found Push the Sky Away to be the band’s most ambitious record yet.
