With his new album Chapter Two due out this May, FACT TV caught up with Benga.
Together with Skream and a close-knit group of others, Benga was instrumental in establishing dubstep first as a promising dance music movement, then as a global force. However, as he explains to FACT TV in this sit-down interview, his relationship with the genre is a lot more complicated than that these days. Elsewhere we talk about working with Charli XCX and Kano, how Chapter Two differs from the Benga that’s come before, and why he can’t be that guy that gets fucked up forever.
