At the beginning of March, Nicolas Jaar and his Clown & Sunset roster took over the Boiler Room NYC.

Acts on the bill included Valentin Stip, Mike Simonetti, Demon John and Shadowbox. Jaar topped the bill with a 45 minute session, the audio and video of which finally hit the web over the weekend.

Jaar mixes are always worth keeping an eye on: his widescreen BBC Essential Mix was garlanded as the best of 2012. His Boiler Room set isn’t quite as ambitious, but it’s still a sweeping session, gently building from ambient drift into pointillist house and techno.
