Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe drop the first single from their follow-up to 2012’s Elysium.

New LP Electric marks the pair’s first record outside of the Parlophone fold in almost 30 years, and sees them team up with pop go-to Stuart Price. Their first single, ‘Axis’, has just hit the tubes, and, what with the Kraftwerk vox and buzzsaw synths, it shows the pair on surprisingly dancefloor-orientated form – close your eyes and you could be listening to Simian Mobile Disco.
