The brand new five-tracker is out today on Footwork Frenzy.

He might only be 22 years old, but the Teklife-affiliated DJ Earl‘s talent is undeniable, and is proven still further with this brand new EP. Markedly more muted than much of the rest of his peers (which is probably how the EP got its name), Earl’s rolling footwork pulls in influences from all corners, absorbing a smooth female vocal on opener ‘I Feel It’ and massive house synth chords on the half-tempo highlight ‘Alive and Well’. Weirdly, the EP’s title track ‘Ambienttt’ is probably the record’s most upbeat number, and shows that Earl above else has a sense of humour that’s often lacking in the scene.
