Guns N’ Roses‘ last LP Chinese Democracy took a jaw dropping fifteen years to come out, so it’s not an exaggeration to call it surprising to hear that its follow up is on the road to completion. Guitarist Richard Fortus told Australian site Noise11 that many of the songs had been completed, and that the band were looking at a 2014 release date.
Considering Axl Rose took ten years to record its predecessor we’re going to say we’ll believe it when the masters are at the plant, but who knows – stranger things have certainly happened. [via NME]
