Two glowsticks and a packet of crisps.
Due August 2-4 at the gigantic Knebworth Park in Hertfordshire, Eastern Electrics Festival are looking to make their event the finest dance music event in the UK, and it looks like they’re on the right track. The latest announcement is the creation of a Pub Arena in the heart of the festival. This “rave pub” is festival organizer Rob Star’s pet project, and a nod to the intimate allure of the smaller venues out there. Serving ice cold lager and cider, the venue will be playing host to a number of artists who will be free to play music that might not have as much main-stage potential, dubstep originator Skream for instance will be dropping a very rare disco set which to our minds will be worth the ticket price alone.
Already confirmed for the festival is a mammoth lineup including Ben UFO, Blawan, Levon Vincent, Theo Parrish, Luke Slater and many more.
