The new release by the Peckham-born, Berlin-based producer is now streaming online ahead of its release on 11 June.
Half of Where You Live, Gold Panda’s second album Ghostly International, consists of 11 songs including the sitar-infused ‘We Work Nights’ and his April release ‘Brazil’.
Packed with skittering percussion, mellow chimes and warm glitches, the follow-up to 2010’s Lucky Shiner sees the producer delving deeper into his library of exotic sounds and field recordings to piece together a travelogue of his past couple of years on the road, from Hong Kong and Japan to the small Yorkshire village of Flinton. Head to NPR for the stream.
He also recently announced a bumper set of tour dates in Europe and North America this summer in support of the album.
