The Montreal duo streamline a tune by Caribou drummer Brad Weber’s new project.

Toronto’s Pick A Piper is an “organic/electronic project” produced by Caribou drummer Brad Weber and a handful of collaborators. ‘Cinders and Dust’, featuring vocalist Dan Roberts, is a moody slice of subdued electro-pop.

On their remix, Grown Folk infuse the original with a smoky house groove befitting the sound of their recent Icee Hot EP and a body-enveloping low end. This one popped up last month but seems to have fallen through the cracks; stream/download it below.
