Six years after the original instalment, and a good nine months after its original release date, Italians Do It Better finally dropped their long-awaited After Dark 2 compilation last month  – and now you can cop it for free.

Johnny Jewel’s discocentric label released After Dark – a scene-defining collection of punchdrunk disco and post-punk for Fabio Frizzi fans – back in 2007. After Dark 2 shares many of the personnel as the original disc: Jewel side gigs Glass Candy, Desire, and Symmetry; former IDIB exec Mike Simonetti; and, of course, Chromatics.

In an act of commendable generosity, Jewel – who, when it comes to Soundcloud, is hardly a Scrooge – has now made the album available to download in its entirety as a long single track. Head here to download the collection in its entirety, or stream it below. [via Pitchfork]
