As far as BBC Essential Mixes go, there’ve been a few keepers this year: an exclusive-stuffed session from Todd Edwards; interesting business from Atoms For Peace; and a vital set from DMZ don Mala. The next artist in line is the biggest – and, our noses tell us, the most divisive – yet: EDM overlord and professional brostepper Skrillex.

Sonny Moore’s mix will air at 1am on Friday evening/Saturday morning over at BBC Radio 1. As ever, the producer will have a two-hour canvas to play with; perhaps we’ll be privy to some his joints with rap loon RiFF-RaFF.
