Even this disastrously low quality audio clip can’t hide the ratatat riff of Portishead’s ‘Machine Gun’ underneath this new song by The Weeknd.

Premiered at an intimate performance in Toronto’s Mod Club Theatre, the track seems to be called ‘You Belong To The World’, and is one of the few examples of new material from Abel Tesfaye since the bonus tracks that appeared on the 2012 mixtape compilation Trilogy. [via Complex]

Tesfaye recently previewed a seven and a half minute epic, ‘Kiss Land’, from his forthcoming record.
