Prince releases "reloaded" version of long-lost song 'Extraloveable'

The Purple One continues his streak of one-off releases with ‘Extraloveable Reloaded’.

Consequence of Sound has the full story on this one: ‘Extralove’ was originally recorded in 1982 and considered for Prince’s electro-pop trio Vanity 6 before being shelved.

In 2011, Prince released a version of the song featuring Cameroonian-born musician Andy Allo, and played it live shortly after. This version, dubbed ‘Extraloveable Reloaded’, replaces Allo with a horn section.
