Amber London has long been one of the Raider Klan‘s brightest hopes (what’s left of the Raider Klan, at least) and now she looks set to cement her legacy with her first full-length mixtape. Clocking in at a mammoth 26 tracks Tru 2 Tha Phonk is jam-packed with syrup-laced “phonk”, and it throws a spotlight on London’s tough, recognizable flow.

Yet another of Spaceghostpurrp’s crew who basks in a certain kind of 90s revivalism, London wears the badge with pride, bringing back fond memories of Da Brat, Missy Elliott and of course Triple Six-affiliate Gangsta Boo. Just as the London-helmed ‘Low MF Key’ was the highlight of Purrp’s exemplary God of Black, it seems as if Tru 2 Tha Phonk will prove just as definitive a statement in the Raider Klan’s sprawling canon.
