The noise artist readies his latest Regression LP.
Nate Young completed his Regression trilogy in 2012, and has returned to the moniker for Blinding Confusion. In a recent interview with FACT, Young described the tenor of the record. “It’s a little more of the macabre stuff that I’ve touched on,” he said. “I don’t really know how to use that word but it’s darker, highly composed kind of stuff, it’s going to be my most criticized record because I must have spent two years on it pretty much.”
The LP is due out on July 2 via NNA Tapes, which also released Young’s Stay Asleep: Regression Vol. 2. Stream the album over at Pitchfork now.
