Kahn And Neek announce new dancehall-leaning EP as Gorgon Sound

The Bandulu bosses will toast soundsystem culture once again on a new EP for Peng Sound.

Young Echo member Kahnhas struck up a productive partnership with Neek; indeed, singles like ‘Percy’ and ‘Chevy’ have turned them into go-to boys for muscular first-wave grime pastiches. When they’re not trading under their individual names, they also investigate dub and reggae together as Gorgon Sound. As well as putting out the digital dancehall cut ‘Find Jah Way’ in 2012, they’ve also started touting a dubplate-only live show, made up exclusively of Gorgon Sound tracks and edits.

Bristol-based label Peng Sound, previously responsible for ‘Find Jah Way’, have announced a new 2×12″ from the pair. The self-titled EP will collect four new tracks from the duo, with guest vocals from Junior Dread and Guy Calhoun. Click below to sample cuts from the record.
