Thunder, thunder, thunder…

Virtuoso bassist Stephen Bruner (aka Thundercat) has been going from strength to strength over the last few years, and his latest Flying Lotus-produced album Apocalypse is his most perfectly-poised statement to date. In support of the record, Bruner will be appearing at London’s XOYO this week thanks to Soundcrash, and it doesn’t look like he’s going to be on his own.

While the entire line-up of special guests hasn’t been fully confirmed, there’s already an enviable selection of artists. Brainfeeder’s sole UK member Lapalux will be dropping in for a live set, supporting his acclaimed Nostalchic full-length, and we will also be treated to a special live set from Throwing Snow.
