J Dilla’s former group have added extra West Coast dates and promised a stint across the pond later in the year.

Slum Village, the hip hop collective that now comprises original member T3 plus Young RJ and Dilla’s younger brother, Illa J, have announced six more dates in the US in support of their Dirty Slums 2 mixtape, which came out at the beginning of the year.

The trio will also soon announce a series of European dates between 11 September and 6 October. [via Hip Hop DX]

Chart-bothering duo Disclosure recently vouched for Slum Village’s Fantastic Volume 2 as part of FACT’s regular On Record series, while last year a long-forgotten J Dilla track from the early Slum Village days resurfaced.
