Grunge bigwigs Pearl Jam have confirmed their first album in four years.

Lightning Bolt will arrive in October on Monkeywrench/Republic, and will serve as the follow-up to 2009’s warmly received Backspacer. The album – their tenth – will be trailed by a new single, ‘Mind Your Manners’, which is available to stream below. A short trailer for the album is also available to watch.

The band have also announced a US tour; dates are below. Pearl Jam’s Matt Cameron recently announced a new drum supergroup, Drumgasm, featuring Death Grips’ Zach Hill and Sleater-Kinney’s Janet Weiss. [via Pitchfork]
