Jay-Z takes the Magna Carta back to where it belongs.
While Jay-Z‘s ambitious latest effort Magna Carta Holy Grail might have had critics on the warpath (just see what FACT’s Tom Lea thought about it, hint: it wasn’t pretty), it still managed to get enough people interested to score the Jigga man his first UK number one. Now Hov is set to take his show on the road, and has announced a handful of dates in dear old Blighty as part of the Magna Carta Holy Grail tour, and even if you weren’t sold on the bloated, messy full-length, Jay’s unfuckwithable back catalogue should make the shows pretty much unmissable, we reckon.
Full details of the tour don’t seem to have emerged just yet, but we can confirm that London, Manchester, Birmingham and Amsterdam shows have been planned, and tickets can be ordered from Live Nation starting at 9:00AM on July 19. [via Music Week]
