On August 26, the Red Bull Sound System will hunker down under the Westway for their annual Notting Hill Carnival session.
David Rodigan MBE will be on top of proceedings, hosting an assortment of vibe conductors old and new. Far and away the biggest dance stars are chart-toppers Disclosure, who’ll be pulling out an exclusive carnival set for the occasion – expect good-time house and a smattering of Settle favourites too. Two UK garage dons, MJ Cole and Wookie, will go back-to-back for a (special guest-assisted) set, and LuckyMe’s Eclair Fifi will also be on a b2b flex with the versatile Nightwave. T. Williams and XXXY help complete the bill.
On a more traditional carnival tip, appearances are promised from Damian Marley, Julian Marley and Stephen Marley, plus the latter’s son Joseph. Wayne Marshall, Christopher Ellis and Black Am I will also grace the stage. Tickets for the party will be distributed by ballot.
Head here between 10.00am on August 12 and 5.00pm on August 16 to sign up, or prepare to grab clearing tickets on August 23.
