Babyshambles have revealed that the artwork for their imminent comeback album, Sequel To The Prequel, was designed by Turner Prize winner Damien Hirst.
The British artist, who’s best known for floating dead sharks in tanks of formaldehyde, delivered a psychedelic image reminiscent of his famous ‘spin’ paintings, which are made by chucking a load of paint at a spinning canvas.
The cover makes use of a shot by rock photographer Pennie Smith, who took the image on the cover of The Clash’s London Calling. [via NME]
