Domino’s Ribbon label have announced full details of Omar Souleyman‘s new album, Wenu Wenu.

Souleyman is a phenomenon in his home country of Syria, a wedding singer who’s gathered international acclaim through releases on Sublime Frequencies and high-profile shows at festivals like Sonar. Wenu Wenu is the first album Souleyman’s recorded in a studio, and comes produced by Four Tet (with asssistance from Souleyman’s long-time collaborator Rizen Sa’id. It will be released on October 21.
