Sven Weisemann makes gentle, aureate, gorgeous house music.
Weisemann’s synthesis of deep house and modern classical is pabulum for the soul. Just ask the likes of former patrons Apple Pips, or spend some time with 2009′s gently unfurling Xine LP; indeed, anyone with a crush on John Roberts’ porcelain house productions or Ryuichi Sakamoto’s steelier works are more than encouraged to get wise to Weisemann.
Later this year, Weisemann will release his second studio album, Inner Motions. The LP, which will offer “music for the club”, has now been confirmed for a late November release date. The twelve-strong tracklist is also below, as is the cover art.
Mojuba will issue Inner Motions on November 23, although a golden ticket-style “limited upfront test pressing edition” will also pop up in Berlin’s Hard Wax shop at some point this week.
Last week, Weisemann performed an exclusive piano-led session for FACT TV, featuring interpolations from Basement Jaxx and Love Unlimited Vibes.
