As if DJ Khaled‘s presence in the limelight wasn’t weird enough in the first place, last week he made headlines by proposing to Cash Money label-mate Nicki Minaj live on MTV. 

The whole thing was so cringeworthy that it’s already become a meme, prompting the amazing ‘Khaled’s Lament’ remix, a fake Khaled instagram (check it out – it’s way way entertaining than the real Khaled’s one) and rumours that Minaj had taken out a restraining order on the big man. Predictably, it now looks like it was a publicity stunt: Khaled’s just dropped a new single from his new album Suffering from Success, titled ‘I Wanna Be With You’ and featuring Future, Rick Ross and – you guessed it – Nicki Minaj.
