Naturally, they’re called FLAMEnco guitars.
While we usually focus on technological curiosities related to vinyl — be it miniature turntables or cremain-based 12″s — we thought it was only fair to save some blog space for the ancient pairing of guitars and pyrotechnics.
John Springer (aka YouTube user TheAlphaPyro) has built a series of increasingly ridiculous (and dangerous, it goes without saying) guitars that are equipped with flamethrowers that shoot flames up to 18 feet high. Unfortunately, the flames aren’t controlled by the notes played on the guitar, but we imagine this would do the trick for your Def Leppard cover band, regardless. [via Yahoo]
