Further proof that the album actually exists, and is coming very soon.
A few weeks before their debut album finally appears on shelves, London industrialists Factory Floor have kindly teased us with a freebie.
‘Turn It Up’ is the taut opener to their self-titled LP, and with its fractured dance rhythm and generous application of cowbell, it’s an effective compromise between the band’s taste for dirty analogue sonics and the dance-punk gloss of their new label home, DFA.
Factory Floor is due out on 9 September, while earlier this year the band put out a marvellous 12″ in collaboration with post-punk composer and saxophonist Peter Gordon.
