The first single from Angel Haze‘s long-promised debut LP Dirty Gold, ‘Echelon’ has finally landed after its debut on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show.

In the last few months Haze has hardly been tight lipped about the album’s progress, but in amongst all the gratis tracks and freestyles there were few hints (save this ‘unfinished’ cut) at exactly what we could expect from Dirty Gold. Now of we’ve finally got a taste we can say it’s been worth the wait – ‘Echelon’ is a rugged, low-end heavy slice of radio-friendly rap, anchored by Haze’s confident flow.
