Golden Pudel resident Helena Hauff has been making all the right moves this year, with releases on Blackest Ever Black, Werk Discs and now PAN.

Don’t let anybody tell you it’s not deserved, either: Hauff’s an ace DJ, and it’s becoming increasingly clear that she’s a very promising producer too. Black Sites sees her team up with F#X, another resident at Hamberg’s Golden Pudel (fun fact: Alex Solman, who currently does the art for FACT’s mix series, designs the club’s flyers) for a record that in some ways recalls the banging warehouse techno of artists like Neil Landstrumm, but also carries a glitchy, melodic feel to it that nods to labels like Border Community.
