Jay Z‘s Made In America festival arrived in Philadelphia for the first time last year, and thanks to legendary director Ron Howard, those of us who missed the festivities will still get to take a closer look.

Howard followed around Jay as he planned the festival, and made sure to capture some of the finest performances when it actually happened. He also managed to score a handful of interviews from Skrillex, Run D.M.C., Pearl Jam, Rita Ora and more.

The documentary will be premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, and will be heading to U.S. channel Showtime on October 11. You can check the trailer below. [via Pitchfork]
