Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington’s Darkside might be most well known for producing the engaging Daft Punk remix album Random Access Memories Memories as Daftside, but now they’re set to make the project just that little bit more legit.

Psychic will be their debut album proper, and follows 2011’s Darkside EP. The duo shared the opening eleven minutes of the album some time ago, and from the sounds of it the record is set to explore similarly moody textures, diving a long way from Jaar’s established sound.

Featuring eight new tracks, the album is touted to explore “rock’s cosmic outer edges through the immersive, body-moving framework of 21st-century house and techno.” Ambitious, then.
