Autre Ne Veut‘s Software-released Anxiety has proven to be one of the year’s most acclaimed full-lengths, and now he’s gearing up for a concise European tour.
Trawling through the UK, Netherlands, Belgium and France, audiences should get to hear his unusual take on electronic pop, and get to see exactly what all the fuss is about. Indeed, mysterious Montreal house don Jacques Greene is in on the action, and has fixed up Anxiety track ‘Play by Play’ to give it just the kind of club pulse it needs to reach a few additional ears.
Subtle and delicately handled, Greene’s rework manages to retain the winsome bedroom-pop vibes of the original but layers over his own inimitable slow-building neon house tropes, emerging with a track that’s more than just the sum of its parts. You can take a listen below.
