The Black Hippy leaks another album track.

Earlier this week, Top Dawg Entertainment announced that ScHoolboy Q’s forthcoming Oxymoron, one of the most eagerly awaited hip hop albums of the year, is stuck in limbo due to sample clearance issues. By way of an apology, TDE promised to leak another album track to keep rabid fans at bay – and here it is.

Produced by by tHe renegades and TDE engineer Mixed By Ali, ‘Banger (MOSHPIT)’ is further evidence that ScHoolboy Q may have really found his sweet spot on the new album, with every spittle-flecked word and barked hook artfully placed over the sparse and super-heavy bass and drums.

The track follows a string of exceptional tracks from the rapper, including ‘Collard Greens’ (featuring fellow Black Hippy Kendrick Lamar) and ‘Yay Yay’.
