One of the most eagerly awaited hip hop albums of the year has touched down on Spotify this morning. Danny Brown has already previewed an extensive selection of cuts from Old, a hefty 19-track collection that includes tracks with rappers ScHoolboy Q and Freddie Gibbs plus producers Skywlkr, Darq E Freaker and Paul White.

The album is split into two halves, marked out by tracks ‘Side A (Old)’ and ‘Side B (Dope Song’), with the Detroit rapper exploring darker personal territory and lower vocal registers on the former before tipping into heavyweight club craziness on the latter, which includes guest appearances from UK MC Scrufizzer plus A$AP Rocky and Charli XCX. It’s a whole lot of post-watershed fun.
