Tickets sold out in one hour and 27 minutes this morning.

Congratulations or commiserations to all those trying for tickets to Glastonbury 2014  – every one of them has now been snapped up. Tickets sold out in record time this year, despite early technical difficulties experienced by the festival’s sole vendor, SeeTickets. As usual, there will be a resale of any returned tickets in the spring.

Festival boss Michael Eavis has already promised that next year’s headliners are all Glastonbury virgins – we’ve racked our brains to come up with a shortlist of 10 likely candidates for the Pyramid Stage’s top slot.
