The video for Fatboy Slim and Riva Starr‘s ‘Eat Sleep Rave Repeat’ centres around an endurance dance test in London.

After submitting video entries, 250 willing shufflers were chosen to battle each other out on the dancefloor, with the last contestant standing taking home a £500 price (and presumably some bloody toenails and sore ankles to boot). The sample from the track, for those wondering, comes from a shopping trip Fatboy Slim and Riva Starr took in Williamsburg. “Me and Riva Starr were out vinyl shopping in Williamsburg, Brooklyn earlier this year”, Fatboy explains, “when we met this dude ranting in the street about some three day bender he had been on – and possibly still was. We hooked him into our serato and chopped him up into a tune. I just wish we’d caught his full name…”

And as for the video? “I take off my hat and trousers to everyone who competed”, says Slim. “It was brutal, it was emotional and no-one died.”
