Early reports indicate Brown in custody following attack on a man outside the W Hotel in Washington D.C.

Chris Brown is once more making headlines for an alleged assault incident. This time it is for what appears to be an attack outside the W Hotel in Washington D.C. for which he has been arrested on felony assault charges.

Earlier today TMZ reported that Brown was still in custody while the victim, as yet unidentified, has been hospitalised. According to the website police sources say that Brown punched the victim once in the face following an argument.

The singer is still on probation for his 2009 assault on Rihanna, who was his girlfriend at the time. Should these latest charges be proven he could face time in jail as a violation of his probation.

Brown’s supposedly final studio album, X, is due for release on November 19, 2013.
