You can now stream M.I.A.‘s new album Matangi in full.

Speaking to FACT’s Chal Ravens this week, M.I.A. claimed that the album stemmed from the “shitstorm” that came with “the discreditment of my achievement or my name or me as an artist. The people who did it were reaping the rewards of it and benefiting from that mentality, and it was the time of the bros … So I made the record at the most peaceful time, then when shit hit the fan again and I was in this custody battle, I played my album a lot and it got me through.” You can read the full piece here.
